Thanks for the encouragement about these novels on the murderous intrigue of interreligious dialogue between Jews, Catholics and Muslims

[[ Dear readers, I'm in England for another week or so, giving some conferences. I rarely get the chance to check the internet. Thanks for your patience. Here is some encouragement I received in the past number of days... ]]

Dear Father,
Some of your bereft blog friends saying ‘Hello’!!! [This is in reference to the picture above, sent in by this reader. Thanks for that! This reader gets it!]
Thank you for keeping us in the loop. [That's about the recent drama in the comments...]
Be assured of our prayers, [Thanks for that! I pray for all my readers.]
as no doubt you have plenty going on behind the scene. [Yes...!]

=============

Dear Father,
Am sending my Angel Guardian to be with you.
And doubling my prayers to St. Anthony of Padua, the Patron of
travelers and donkeys!!
St. Christopher, St. Nicholas of Myra and St. Raphael the Archangel. [Thanks for that!]

=============

Father, will you be buying a ‘bullet proof vest’, whilst in England? [That would be good, but the Lord's providence is best! I'm in the safest place in England that I could be, just steps away from Tony Blair's residence and right in the centre of the Muslim enclave in London. There are large Muslim families everywhere I look: modestly dressed, well behaved, courteous, happy go lucky. But then there are the English teenagers, wasted on drugs and alcohol, immodestly dressed, constantly misbehaving and being discourteous, and not only depressed, frustrated and angry, but ganging up like cowards, they look for the next victim to beat to death on the streets, at any place, at any time.]

=============

My prayer for you, dear Father, is that “there will be strength and time to write out what I have had in mind and heart for many years to present as a sequel to Jackass for the Hour.”[This is a quotation from an earlier post or email, I forget which. Thanks for that!]

[From the most ferocious proof reader in the world:]
Dear Father Renzo,

Here is my proof-reading report for the final chapters of Book 1.  I hope you will find the comments helpful.  [Yes! It is a great privilege to benefit from the services of the most ferocious proofreader in the world. I greatly appreciate your efforts and I hope to do my best in learning from them!]

It was a poignant experience to carry out this task, saying “Delete this” or “May I suggest that?”, while all the time I was so wrapped up in the fate of the characters, even shedding tears for them, particularly over the death of Father Alexamenos, when his strength gave out at last from the accumulation of his injuries.  Very moving.

In general, the book has left me with an impression of real exaltation, both intellectual and spiritual.   I hope I will be a better person as a result of having read it.

I am very much looking forward to the next Book.  Please let me know if you would like me to proof-read it.  I will be happy to do so, if it would be of help to you. [Yes!]

    [[ Hello, Wanderer! That's right, violence solves nothing, but only brings about more violence. It makes me sick to have just received in the search-box results on the stats page for today what could be a threat against the readers of the Trilogy. Sigh! But onward we go with, as you say, peace, love and light. Thanks!
