“UNSHEATHING THE SWORD OF BLASPHEMY” Um… This blog…? Nope!

searchbox-gettingit.jpgHere’s a few of the seaches for today. Note that the stats page truncates reporting of the search after 40 letters.

It would be interesting to know what the reader was trying to say in the first line, which reads: “hypocrite because he is a coptic christian c…” whatever that means.

The second line is a bit odd, really: “unsheathing the sword of blashemy.” It must have been written by a Muslim who thinks I’ve been blasphemous with a blasphemy which in and of itself unsheaths his sword of divine blood revenge, or some such thing. Most people use the combox or email to express their gripes and concerns. That’s better, don’t you think? Of course, I can’t report all emails in public, as they are sometimes written in a rather inappropriate manner. But, hey, give it a try! Anyway, what I write in Book 1 of the Trilogy cannot be blasphemy for the reason that Allah is not God. Simple as that. Well… The arguments are really quite refined, having to do with the sacrifice of children stemming from the Qur’an, sura 37:100-113, but to know what I really think about that, and, therefore, to know if what I really say is blasphemy, you will have to read all of Book 1 of the Trilogy. Not so bad, really. It’s quite a good read. At least some readers think so!

UPDATE — a rethink – On the other hand, maybe “unsheathing the sword of blasphemy” refers to this blog as being too controversial, to such an extent, that the sword — which is, in itself, blasphemous in the view of the reader –  is unsheathed from whatever direction. If that’s the case, well, I respond in two ways. (1) Go ahead and actually read Book 1 of the Trilogy; (2) the sword of self-defense is not evil. For more on that, you might want to read the opening pages of the Trilogy and, then, Book 1 of the Trilogy. Hit the blog header and scroll down to all the opening pages. There are, by the way, new readers all the time. Welcome!

The third line, yes! “SANCTUS Hieronymus!” Someone has been reading the Trilogy!

The fourth line, “jackass mural song”… Now, what could that possibly be?Some braying, I suppose! I guess that means someone else has been reading the Trilogy as well. Not bad, that. Sing away! Well, what are the lyrics?! Hopefully something about a “Jackass for the Hour”, the title of Book 1 of the Trilogy.

And so forth…

If you want to know all about the murderous intrigue of interreligious politics in an entertaining way, novel as thriller, based on today’s reality, you’ve come to the right place. Have a good read!
