From the search engine: “common denominator in religions” Answer: THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD, ONE TRUE RELIGION (not Allah, not Islam)

statsquestionondenominatorreligion.jpgEvery once in a while I like to share a snippet from the sometimes overly lengthy list of blog searches in the search section of the stats page to share with the rest of the readers. I’ve circled an especially interesting entry: “common denominator in religions”. Good one!

Religion is a matter of justice, giving to God what is His due, at least as much as this is in the power of a creature of the Creator to do this! We are to offer to God our obedience, that which is expected of a creature by the Creator.

God is One. He is Living Truth. He is Charity. There is only one true religion, only one way for a creature to respond properly to the One God. That makes sense, doesn’t it? There cannot be a multitude of true religions which all contradict each other. That would make God into a fool, but God will not be mocked. God calls us to Himself. If we respond correctly, we are good creatures of the Creator, rendering to God what is His due, that is, our obedience. This is religion.

But all this is to be done God’s way. God calls us not only individually, but together, to be His family of Faith. That family of faith is called ”A Religion” or, more accurately, “The Religion”. There can be only one true religion.

God is reasonable. After all, God created reason. We communicate by way of reason. God communicates, reveals to us by way of that which is reasonable in its communication. True religion must be reasonable. Just to say it: It is not reasonable for, say, Allah, to demand, as an exercise of religion, that which is unreasonable. But the would-be child-sacrifice of Abraham’s son as is depicted in the Qur’an is unreasonable. Allah is not God. Islam is not a true religion.

Flurries of questions and accusations of hypocrisy arise. In answer, read Book 1 of the Trilogy. Click on the blog header above to go to the table of contents, and scroll down to go to all the opening pages of the Trilogy. Happy reading! Cheers!
